Overview
Social Machine is a TikTok-first Android workflow tool for preparing carousel content, organizing post details, maintaining a seven-day queue, and recording local workflow status.
Information you choose to add
- Images selected or shared into the app.
- Titles, descriptions, hashtags, templates, and notes.
- Scheduled dates, times, queue status, posted status, and failed status.
- Preferences including theme, Dry Run, timezone, and scheduling options.
- Activity-log entries generated by actions and errors.
Local storage
Drafts, selected image copies or references, queues, history, settings, and logs are stored in app-private storage on the Android device. Android backup is disabled for the app. Local data remains until you delete it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
Device permissions
Social Machine may use media access for images you select or share, network access for external services, and notifications for workflow reminders when enabled. It does not need contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone, or precise location for its current workflow.
TikTok connection
The approved test build contains a closable connection explanation popup, but official TikTok Login Kit is not configured. Social Machine does not ask for your TikTok username or password. Real publishing is blocked while a valid TikTok authorization and required permission are unavailable.
Developer testing credentials
A collapsed temporary developer setup may be used during controlled integration testing. When such a token is entered, the source is designed to protect it using Android Keystore-backed encryption and exclude it from ordinary backups. Do not email access tokens, client secrets, or passwords to support.
Third-party services
If TikTok authorization or media hosting is enabled in a later verified release, selected profile information, post details, public image URLs, and authorization data may be processed by those providers under their own policies. This policy and the Google Play Data Safety form will be updated to match the production implementation.
Analytics, advertising, and sale of data
The approved test build does not include behavioral advertising and is not intended to sell personal data. No public production analytics claim is made.

Security
No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your phone, install builds only from trusted sources, and never place passwords or secret credentials in post text.
