Social Machine data controls

Data Deletion.

Social Machine does not currently create a separate Rustic Banana Studio cloud account. Most current app data is stored locally on the Android device.

No separate Social Machine account

The current build does not create an email-and-password account with Rustic Banana Studio.

Delete individual records

Use the app's controls to remove draft images, queue items, posted history, failed history, or the activity log where available.

Delete all local app data

  1. Open Android Settings.
  2. Select Apps, then Social Machine.
  3. Open Storage.
  4. Select Clear storage or Clear data and confirm.

Uninstalling the app also removes its app-private local data. Clearing or uninstalling does not remove content already sent to a third party.

Disconnect TikTok

When official TikTok authorization is available, use Disconnect TikTok in Settings and revoke the app through TikTok account controls. The current test build does not claim an active production connection.

Delete support records

Email support@rusticbananastudio.app with the subject “Social Machine Data Deletion Request.” Send the request from the address used in the original support conversation.

Third-party data

Data already processed by TikTok or a media host must also be removed using that provider's controls or support process.
